The Klinik am Rhein was founded in 2003 and specialises in aesthetic and plastic surgery. As a state-licensed clinic, we meet the high technical, organisational and personnel requirements set out by § 30 of the German Industrial Code (Gewerbeordnung) for a clinical facility (incl. air conditioning in operating theatres using clean room technology, validated instrument reprocessing and sterilisation). We have 4 monitoring beds available, 2 of which are for overnight stays at the clinic.
All surgeons have completed broad basic training in general and trauma surgery as well as vascular and thoracic surgery before specialising in plastic surgery. The clinic consists of a team of 5 doctors and 12 qualified nurses and medical assistants. All surgeons are members of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRÄC).
